Steven + Jessie | Maternity

I am going to start with this, the power of social media is crazy!! Especially Instagram! I am not going to lie sometimes I get mad at my Instagram reach and want to cuss it, but then there are moments that something amazing happens and I am forever thankful! Just like the meeting of these two!
I posted on an Instagram story I was thinking of taking a session while at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. One of my followers shared with Jessie after posting she was looking for a photographer for her Maternity Session while in Las Vegas at the same time and the rest is pure photography history!!
We both wanted the desert vibe, and I had a vision in mind for this session. So I rented a car and drove until I found the perfect scenery. Which happened to be just off the side of the road. We literally had to squeeze through a hole in the fence! Don’t worry it was state property and there were no “no trespassing” signs!
The main questions I had about this maternity session was wardrobe!!! Obviously Jessie looks good in anything, but choosing her wardrobe for this session went along with our desert vibe vision we both had in mind. Jessie is a fellow creative so she knew exactly what she wanted for her maternity session in the desert! Two of the three dresses she wore were from my client closet. The white lace dress with the macrame on it, was actually created for me by a local (to me) seamstress and then the macrame was added later. Her company is called Sew City and based out of Houston, Mo. The other beige dress is from Cora and Violet! Both of these dresses fit Jess perfectly! Her pink dress she brought with her, I believe it was a brides maid dress for a wedding she had just been in, and the color was perfect for our vision!
We danced, we laughed, and had so much fun during this Maternity session. Jessie and Steven are busy people so to slow down and take in that season of their life was so much fun to watch. These two Texans love each other hard, and I love that!
