Caroline + Jacob

You want to talk about a fairy tale love story! These two met at a youth group event, they remained best friends for years before finally admitting they both liked each other! That resulted in a long term long distance relationship for four years! After a storybook proposal here we are at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Mo to celebrate these two becoming husband and wife!

Caroline was such a chill bride. The only thing she really cared about that day was seeing her groom! The first look was absolutely amazing! It was right in front of the Garden Chapel at Big Cedar. From there we just enjoyed their venue and had so much fun capturing their love for one another! I mean who else can say they sat in their car soaking up the air conditioning and shared a bag of skittles with your bride and groom before the ceremony?! I can!!!! You know why? Because I have the BEST wedding clients!!!

Caroline’s first look with her father was so emotional. John was so proud of his gorgeous daughter that he beamed with happiness! The ceremony took place in The Garden Chapel at Big Cedar Lodge. It was pretty small and intimate. They exchanged their own written vows, it was full of emotion and laughs. From there we went to Top of the Rock to enjoy a delicious dinner and have drinks overlooking the lake! If you have never been to Top of the Rock it needs to be on your list of must visit places. It is beautiful! At sunset we did an amazing session with the bride and groom overlooking the lake. Then got to witness the cannon firing! How amazing is that?!

When looking for a venue always go with the one that pay attention to details! Big Cedar Lodge and Top of the Rock go over the top on details and it makes my photographer heart so happy!

The night was concluded with dancing of course! The most emotional part of the day was for the daddy daughter dance when John pulled out all the stops and played an old recording of Caroline singing The Climb! I know how sweet! I’m not crying you are!!!!! Okay everyone was crying!!!

Jacob and Caroline were a dream couple to work with. They are kind, beautiful loving couple. God is in the center of their now marriage and that is a rare find this day in time. They have the best most supportive and loving families and friends to support them as a married couple. That is how you know a marriage will succeed!

I am absolutely thankful I got the opportunity to capture such an amazing wedding at Big Cedar Lodge. I met some amazing people and got to witness a Love Story come full circle from young kids to amazing adults! I am so happy for Caroline and Jacob!
